Human Resource Management

Human Resource Management is the discipline of acquiring, developing, motivating and retaining the workforce that strategy depends on, and it forms a core paper in every BBA/MBA program and a growing profession across Nepali banks, NGOs, manufacturers and startups.

This course covers the full academic architecture of HRM in ten lessons: the evolution from personnel administration to strategic HRM, human resource planning and job analysis, the recruitment-selection pipeline, socialisation and training, performance management systems, compensation design, labour relations under Nepal's Labour Act 2074, discipline and grievance handling, and the metrics-driven strategic HR function. Each lesson pairs named theory (Ulrich's roles, Katz's skills, expectancy theory, 360-degree appraisal) with Nepali workplace application.

The final exam draws 14 questions in 25 minutes at 65% — unlocked only after completing all lessons.
